Why Milk & Meat?
To rightly divide the Word of Truth, we are to first understand the rudimentary principles of the Gospel, the MILK, and then follow on to know the more excellent doctrines of Christ, the MEAT. Without this, we are certain to follow in the footsteps of those that have come before us - echoing the historically replete symptoms of ignorance….
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” -Hosea 4:6
…so, to correctly apprehend the Bible, which is the Christian’s rule of faith and life, we must use a proper hermeneutical and contextual approach and assure that the whole of Scripture agrees with the interpretation we arrive at.
Anything short of this will likely lure us into unbiblical conclusions that distort the intended meaning of God’s Word to us, and will endanger our life and faith, along with whoever else is affected by our wrongly assumed views about God and His Word.
